Chapter 9

  • Tyson sent Samantha home before leaving for the intercontinental hotel.
  • He had some matters to discuss with Jordan concerning the Sarit business Park.
  • Although Tyson was the owner, he had delegated the management to the same man who was responsible for its construction.
  • He didn't have time to run such a small business nor was he interested in dealing with business.
  • If someone heard his thoughts, they would drop dead.
  • How was the Sarit business Park just a small business?
  • It was giving many prestigious families from Los Angeles and other neighbouring states sleepless nights trying to secure a spot for the expansion of their companies, yet here he was, referring to it as a small business.
  • But to Tyson, it was really a small business in his eyes. His wealth accumulated over the five years he served as the captain of the dragon regiment was enough to last him and his whole family a few lifetimes.
  • Tyson prefered maintaining a low key and hiding his true power.
  • With everybody thinking that he's still the useless son-in-law from five years ago was actually good for his mission and revenge plan.
  • ' Let them all think that I am still the same, they won't even know what hit them.' he thought.
  • Inside the most luxurious room in the intercontinental hotel, Tyson made his entrance and found Jordan seated. Alongside him was a middle aged man.
  • If his guess was right, that was supposed to be Mr Seth Miller of the Miller construction group.
  • He was the same Man responsible for the construction of the Sarit business Park to whom Tyson delegated the management duty to.
  • " Good evening Mr Gray." Seth Miller greeted Tyson respectfully.
  • Tyson waved his hand, dismissing his greetings.
  • " Let's get straight to the point. The bidding for the Sarit business Park is approaching, what arrangements have you made?" His voice was stern and domineering.
  • It demanded respect from those who heard it.
  • Having lived in the business world from a young age, Miller could tell how powerful the young man seated before him was.
  • You wouldn't want to look down upon him by observing his Lean body and cheap clothes.
  • He figured that the man must be hiding his true strength.
  • " The bidding will be fair and transparent. Only the companies that will present good proposals about their development plans will be offered the contract." Seth Miller replied.
  • " Are you sure that's all?" Tyson asked, squinting his eyes dangerously at the Man.
  • Seth Miller shivered from the intense gaze directed to him by the young man.
  • His eyes seemed to be boring directly to his heart.
  • " Some companies have tried offering bribes to secure a spot through connections." Seth honestly replied.
  • From the look of things, there's no way a lie could escape undetected by the man in front of him.
  • He didn't want to be in his bad books considering that his family business was benefitting from managing the business Park.
  • " The selection will be open and transparent. No bribery should be accepted." Tyson announced in his low and dangerous voice.
  • " Yes, I understand." Seth Miller was fast to show his understanding of the rules.
  • " Also, Samantha Lewis will be here, representing the Lewis family.Prepare a contract for her in advance." He Instructed.
  • " Understood."
  • After that, Tyson rose to his feet intending to leave.
  • " Remember, I hate people who act smart with me. Follow my rules and we won't have a problem." Tyson's voice sent shivers down Seth Miller's spine. The aura surrounding the young man was so deadly. It even exceeded a top martial artist.
  • Without waiting for any reply, Tyson Left the room with Jordan following behind him.
  • " Damn it Tyson, you really know how to scare people." Jordan said excitedly. He almost laughed out loud seeing the scared expressions in the man's face.
  • " A Little bit of intimidation is enough to keep people on the right track." Tyson answered.
  • Although he didn't trust Seth Miller completely, he was sure with time, he could make a good subordinate.
  • Tyson was aware that for his success, he would need a few trustworthy individuals by his side.
  • " Have you looked into what I told you?" Tyson asked out of the blue.
  • " I am sorry Tyson but it was hard to infiltrate the club and gather information but I promise I won't stop until I get to the bottom of it." Jordan sounded regretful.
  • It was the first time Tyson sent him for an important mission but he failed.
  • His task was simple,to infiltrate the famous garage club in town and find the source of the Ladies auctioned there.
  • But he couldn't do that.
  • The security was tight and secret cameras were installed everywhere.
  • Jordan could have resulted in breaking in, but the consequences would be him getting caught and his cover blown.
  • That would do nothing to help but drag things longer not to forget alarming those involved.
  • " It's okay. For such a business to exist for so long here, it must be difficult to infiltrate the underground casino.
  • Besides, it doesn't mean you'll find anything after getting to the casino. We will just take things slow for now." Tyson comforted Jordan.
  • Since the business has been going on for a long time and the Los Angeles police department has been unsuccessful in capturing the ones responsible, that only meant that they were overly cautious and covered their tracks well.
  • Tyson was determined to end human trafficking in America and to do that, he had to start from somewhere.
  • Los Angeles became his first target.
  • From here,he will hunt down those bastards and eliminate them one by one.
  • " Tyson, what are your plans with the brilliance Corp. Although they have given it to you, its top management officials are still lackeys of the Carter family." Jordan reminded him.
  • " Don't worry about that. I have the perfect plan for that company." Tyson replied, a mysterious glint passing through his eyes.
  • " Are you going to the over ?"Jordan probed.
  • " No, I don't have time for that."
