Chapter 3 Destroying the Entire Svenson Family!

  • "How is this possible? How is this possible?" Elin stared at Henrik and Charlie standing together, and her expression went blank as she muttered to herself.
  • One was the wealthiest man in Wuspar, and the other was a recently released ex-convict. How could these two individuals, one at the top and the other at the bottom, possibly have any connection?
  • No one could comprehend the bond between them. However, no one doubted Charlie's words.
  • With his strength, as long as Ingrid's wish was not too unrealistic, it could definitely be fulfilled.
  • Ingrid was also surprised as she looked at Henrik with a calm expression. She was at a loss for words.
  • "Miss Svenson, take your time to think about it. When you have made up your mind, you can contact me." After saying that, Charlie glanced at Henrik and left hurriedly.
  • Due to Henrik's special identity, he couldn't reveal too much.
  • "So, it turns out that Mr. Young was just helping out of a sense of justice!" Suddenly, someone in the crowd of onlookers said with a tone of realization.
  • "What? What does that mean?"
  • "I mean, that ex-convict has nothing to do with Mr. Young at all. Didn't you see that Mr. Young didn't pay much attention to him? It's just that Mr. Young himself came from a humble background and doesn't like it when people look down on those from the lower class."
  • "Oh, I see! That's why Mr. Young didn't even leave his contact information! It turns out that saying he would help her fulfill her wish was just a formality." Everyone suddenly understood.
  • Elin's mood improved when she heard this.
  • "I actually thought you had made progress. Turns out you're still a waste!"
  • "A waste will always be a waste. That's an unchangeable fact!" Luca finally got up and echoed with resentment.
  • Henrik ignored the couple and gazed at Ingrid.
  • Suddenly, he knelt on one knee.
  • "Ingrid, will you marry me? If you're willing, I promise to give my all to make you the happiest woman in the world and to live a joyful life forever, where no one can ever bully you."
  • "Haha!" Elin burst into laughter.
  • "Henrik, you crack me up! Mr. Young was just helping out of a sense of justice. Did you really think he considered you a friend? You're so poor and without prospects. Who gave you the courage to propose to Ingrid?"
  • "It's no wonder you've been in prison. You're shameless!" Luca mocked. "It's one thing to be attracted by looks, but to propose without even a ring? Can you be any more pathetic? If you're short on money, I can give you some to buy a pull tab. How about that?"
  • Laughter erupted throughout the room.
  • Everyone looked at Henrik as if they were witnessing a living joke.
  • But in the next second, everyone suddenly fell silent.
  • They saw Henrik take out a red box from his pocket and open it. A pure gold medal immediately caught their eyes.
  • Everyone was dumbfounded.
  • The medal was crafted so perfectly, like a work of art that could be passed down through the ages. It was engraved with a large character—"Destiny," with powerful strokes that exuded a fierce and mighty aura.
  • Both the craftsmanship and the engraving were enough to prove that this medal was priceless!
  • Elin was dumbfounded.
  • How could Henrik possibly give such a precious gift? It defied logic!
  • Compared to this medal, the diamond ring on her hand seemed vulgar and unworthy. She was consumed with jealousy.
  • Luca's facial expression turned bad, as if he had eaten feces.
  • This useless ex-convict had given such a magnificent gift, and he hadn't even seen it before!
  • "I bet this is just a decoration worth ten, and it's worthless! 'Destiny,' what a stupid name!" Luca belittled Henrik with harsh words as he was filled with extreme dissatisfaction.
  • If Charlie heard these words, he would probably punch him to death on the spot.
  • Worthless!?
  • This was a special military merit medal personally awarded by the highest leader, with another nickname—Amnesty Medal!
  • The medal was truly priceless. It was a treasure that couldn't be bought, no matter how much money one had!
  • "That's right! It must be fake! Think about it... How could an ex-convict who was just released afford such a precious gift?" Elin said as if trying to convince herself.
  • However, some people believed her words, while others were skeptical because anyone with eyes could see that this was not an ordinary decoration.
  • Ingrid, on the other hand, didn't think too much about it. She didn't care about the value of the gift Henrik gave her at all. She was just bewildered by his sudden proposal.
  • She thought, I only visited him in prison once and gave him five thousand. He doesn't need to repay me like this.
  • She sympathized with Henrik's experience, but she definitely didn't have any feelings for him.
  • Under normal circumstances, she would have rejected him without hesitation.
  • But now...
  • She glanced at the Svenson Family and then at Donald.
  • If she refused Henrik, the Svenson Family would make her marry Donald.
  • No matter how unworthy Henrik was, he was still much better than Donald.
  • While Ingrid was contemplating, Donald pointed at Henrik and spoke. "Kid, you just proposed without even asking me?"
  • He had long been displeased by Henrik's sudden arrival that interrupted his good time.
  • And now, this d*mn convict dared to propose to the woman he had his eyes on right in front of him. How could he tolerate it?
  • Henrik seemed to have not heard Donald's words and gazed at Ingrid earnestly.
  • "I'm talking to you. Didn't you hear me? Ingrid is now my fiancee. Show some respect!"
  • Donald's anger surged when he was ignored.
  • Upon seeing that Henrik still ignored him completely, he shouted, "I'm talking to you. Are you deaf!?"
  • After rolling his sleeves, he raised his fist and aimed it at Henrik.
  • "I do!" Suddenly, Ingrid gave her answer.
  • "What did you say?" Donald stopped his hand and stared at Ingrid in disbelief. He was unable to believe his ears.
  • "That's great!" Henrik was overjoyed and stood up before hugging Ingrid tightly.
  • Donald's eyes turned red with rage when he saw his fiancee openly embracing and being intimate with another man right in front of him.
  • "D*mn it! You little slut! I am your fiance. How dare you accept another man's proposal right in front of me? I'll kill this d*mn ex-convict first, and then I'll have sex with you, you filthy woman..."
  • Before he could finish his vulgar words, Henrik suddenly turned around and slapped him.
  • Slap! Donald was knocked to the ground.
  • Henrik took a step forward and placed his foot on Donald's mouth to prevent him from uttering any more vulgar words.
  • "Ingrid is my wife now. If you dare to disrespect her or have any impure thoughts about her, you will face severe consequences!"
  • As he finished speaking, he retracted his foot and swiftly struck Donald directly in the groin.
  • "Ah!" Donald let out a scream. He flew four or five meters before fainting.
  • "Ingrid, let's go!" Henrik held Ingrid's hand and walked away quickly amidst the shocked and terrified gazes of the crowd.
  • The members of the Svenson Family were horrified.
  • They hurriedly ran over and shook Donald.
  • "Mr. Campbell! Mr. Campbell, wake up!"
  • "Oh no! It's over! It seems that Mr. Campbell is dead. What should we do?!"
  • "He's not dead, but he won't be able to function as a man anymore. The Campbells will definitely not let this go easily. The Svenson Family is in big trouble!"
  • Panic spread throughout the Svenson Family.
  • Fifteen minutes later, Donald's father, Corey Campbell, rushed over and witnessed the tragic state of his son. Corey roared with bloodshot eyes, "I want Henrik and Ingrid to kneel and apologize in front of my son's ward within two hours! Then, Ingrid must marry my son. Otherwise, I will destroy the entire Svenson Family!"
