Chapter 9 A Visit To The Witch

• Rita stood up from where she sat. She took a deep breath then she opened the door.
• She walked inside the office and closesd the door. She turned around with a nervous smile as she saw Lucifer, seated. Staring at her coldly.
• His eyes stared right into hers, making her more nervous. She had never felt so nervous in her entire life.
• Lucifer remained seated with a cold expression on his face. The lady standing in front of him was someone he didn't want to see.
• This was the third time he was seeing her that same week. It was no longer a coincidence, there was more meaning to it which he was yet to find out.
• "Good morning sir" she greeted nervously.
• Her voice sounded surprisingly pleasing to his ears. He trailed his eyes from her face down to her big sized breasts.

• "My name is Rita Montero" she replied immediately. Lucifer returned her CV back to her some seconds later. Then he rested his back on his chair and crossed his legs.
• He removed a stick of cigarette from it's pack then he lit the cigarette with his golden lighter.
• He puffed out smoke after taking a long drag from the cigarette. Rita coughed as Lucifer puffed out smoke from his mouth.
• "You want some?" Lucifer asked as he pointed a pack of cigarette at Rita.
• "No sir, I don't smoke." she shook her head. Lucifer withdrew his hand. He dropped the pack of cigarette on the table.
• "Rita" he called.
• "Yes sir?"
• "According to the details in your CV, you seem to be the perfect person for the position of a secretary.." He paused and took another drag from his cigar then he continued.
• "But what makes you think that I will employ you after what you did yesterday?" Lucifer asked.
• Rita wasn't surprised. She knew that he was gonna bring up that topic. But she didn't know what she was gonna say.
• Lucifer smirked when he noticed how disturbed she was. Rita answered after a while.
• "Spilling juice on your tuxedo last night wasn't intentional. It was a mistake and I am very sorry for that" she said in an apologetic tone.
• Lucifer stared at her for a while. His heart softened when she apologized to him and that was an odd thing for him.
• He wasn't a soft hearted person and never would he be. But this lady sitting right in front of him just softened his heart within seconds.
• "Alright then, you're hired" he said. Rita stared at him unbelievably after he said that. She never expected him to accept her apology so easily.
• "Are you for real?" She asked but Lucifer said nothing. He continued smoking his cigarette.
• "Thanks a lot sir, I am really grateful" she thanked him.
• "You're to resume by 8:00 am everyday, I hate it when my employees come late to work. Your salary is $30,000 and that's all you need to know for now. You can leave" Lucifer said.
• Rita stood up and carried her bag.
• "Thanks a lot sir and have a nice day" she said then she walked out of the office. Lucifer stared at her backside as she walked out of the office and he smirked naughtily.
• He stood up from his chair and walked to the fridge in his office. He opened it, took a bottle of alcohol an poured some in a glass cup.
• He walked to his window and stared outside. He sipped the alcohol as he continued staring outside the window.
• Then he saw Rita boarding a taxi.
• "Who are you?" He muttered as she got inside the vehicle. He watched as the vehicle drove off.
• Lucifer removed a piece of paper from his breast pocket. It was the paper that Lucien gave to him.
• "I have to visit that witch today and get answers to my questions."

• Rita still found it hard to believe that she got employed by Lucifer.
• She thought he was gonna chase her out of his office for spilling juice on him the previous night but she got something totally different from what she was expected.
• A smile appeared on her face when she remembered Lucifer's face and the way her name sounded angelic when he called her.
• "He's so handsome" she muttered.
• "Ma'am, we've arrived at your destination" the taxi driver said. Rita jolted out of her thoughts. She almost forgot that she was inside a taxi.
• She got down from the vehicle then she paid the driver. She walked to her apartment and unlocked the door.

• A black Lamborghini drove into a silent street. There was no sign of life in the street. Just old houses abandoned shops.
• Lucifer continued driving till he got to the end of the street where he saw a beautiful mansion.
• He parked his car and got down from it. He came with no driver nor guards.
• He stared at the piece of paper in his hand then he raised his head and stared at the mansion.
• "This should be the place" he said. He walked towards the gate and surprisingly, it opened by itself.
• He walked inside and glanced around the place.The mansion was huge and beautiful. It was painted white and Lucifer loved white colour a lot.
• Two red cars were parked at a corner. He walked further into the mansion till he got to the entrance.
• The door opened by itself and Lucifer walked inside.
• Everything inside the house was sparkling. The couches, the table, the chandelier, everything inside seemed expensive. But not up to Lucifer's standard.
• Lucifer sighted a staircase then he climbed up till he got upstairs. There were lots of rooms.
• Lucifer walked to the last room by the left then he opened the door and walked inside.
• The room was spacious and everything inside was made of pink.
• Lucifer heard a feminine voice humming inside the bathroom. He sat down on a couch inside the room and waited for whoever was in the bathroom.
• He took out his usual cigarette pack from his pocket. He removed a stick from the pack and placed it in between his lips.
• Then he lit it with his lighter.
• Lucifer stared around the room. Four picture frames were hanged on the wall.
• The first picture frame was the picture of an elderly man. The second, an elderly woman. The third, a little girl. The last picture frame was a young lady and a guy.
• The bathroom door opened and a lady stepped out. A towel was tied on her hair and around her slim body.
• A black cat also walked behind her and immediately the cat saw Lucifer, it's eyes changed to green.

• She removed the towel on her head and hanged it on the hanger. She picked an hair dryer and dried off the water on her hair.

• "I need your help" Lucifer replied. The lady chuckled as she stared at Lucifer through her mirror.
• "The almighty Lucifer asking for my help?" She turned around and walked away from the mirror.
• She walked towards Lucifer and stood in his front. She rested her hand on the couch and bent a little. Their faces were inches apart.
• "I feel honoured that you need my help but.." She paused and moved her mouth to his ear.
• "I don't help for free, you have to pay a price before I can help you" she whispered into Lucifer's ear.
• The lady stood upright with a seductive smile on her face.
• "By the way, my name is Amelia" she introduced.
