• I sat still as Alara took her time styling my hair. For an occasion as such as that which would be taking place today, I was supposed to be happy. But that wasn't the case. That wasn't the case because I was getting married to my subject of my worst fear. For a moment, it made me think about Denver.
• Denver. When last did I think about him? Suddenly he had come to mind, and I figured I missed him terribly. I wondered if he was going to be here alongside my brother today.
