• "Calm down." I said. "Y'all should calm down." I repeated, trying to think up something as fast as I could.
• "Let me inspect the room." I excused myself and waltzed in, only to see Audrey crouched to the floor and crying. I looked around, and the thick blood splatter on the wall, was all I needed to know that indeed, someone was here, and that person had forcefully taken Isla. But who could it be?!! I muttered inaudible words underneath my breathe, asking Isla to hang in there for as long as she could.
