• Xavier’s POV
• Xiao and I stood and watched our mate run upstairs. It was not our intention to offend her. It just happened. I could feel my wolf anger because of what we did. He is urging me to follow her up but I know she would not appreciate that at the moment. So I calmed him down. After all, we don't want her to be more angry than before.
• “Bravo to us! We have succeeded in hurting our mate.” I sarcastically told no one in particular and sat on one of the sofas. Just last night, we took a step closer in our relationship and this morning we have taken two steps backwards.
