Chapter 74 Searching For Austin Foster

• The Attorney General Carter Smith owes the Bratva brotherhood a favor. And since the Bratva insurgencies know about his deep secret, they now have control over him. They managed to destroy every piece of evidence that the Bratva has against him, and now they have total control of him. They made him destroy all the evidence that the Bratva had on him, they made it practically impossible for anyone else to control him, or monitor his affairs. That way he can work for them without interference, and that is what he has been doing for as long as I can remember.
• Actually, I didn’t know all this, and I would never have found out about it if I wasn’t approached by one of the captains of the Bratva Insurgencies. They thought Austin Foster could handle the deal with my family. Austin Foster used to be their only link to get their goods out of the state, and out of the country. And now that Austin is under investigation, they have no choice but to come up with this plan to use our docks. Austin had told me that he only wanted to take the docks from us, he had lied to me about their plans to tarnish the name and reputation of our family’s businesses until the value of our shares drips. Then they can swoop in and buy off our shares one after the other until we are thrown out of the street.
