Chapter 62 Tracing Casey's House
- Still Drakes POV
- Charles was very serious when he said that he didn’t want an apology from my parents, but from my sister. I would have asked him to explain what he meant by that, as it’s obvious to see that he doesn’t want to speak about it anymore. I opened old wounds when I asked him to retell the story of how his wife died. It made him I’m very emotional, I’m not sure he could say anything else after his angry outburst. His voice was so loud when he yelled at me, and it made his curious son come out of his room to check on his father.
- I can only imagine what could be going through the little boy's head right now. At such a tender age, he has already witnessed such brutality and inhumane behavior. It hurts to k ow that my parents are the cause of their troubles, and I wish there was something I could do about it. If only I could turn back the clock, I would have stopped all this from happening to this innocent cute boy.
