Chapter 327 Pitiful-Looking Girl
- Anna looked like she was about to say something, but she hesitated for a moment before keeping her mouth shut. Then, she sighed as she rested a hand on Nicole's shoulder. "Why don't you bring Hayden in to see Old Mr. Benedict? He's awake now and he'd be happy to see you guys," Anna said.
- Nicole nodded before bringing Hayden into the house. Benedict was not lying on the bed when they visited this time. Instead, he was sitting on the couch with his head tilted to look out at the window. No one knew what he was looking at. He was dressed in dark green pajamas, and his entire body rested against the couch. His hair looked even whiter than it did a few days ago.
- "Hello, Great-grandpa," Hayden uttered in a soft voice. Benedict turned around when he heard the voice. He looked rather pale, and his lips were drained of color. However, Benedict smiled the moment he saw Hayden. "It's my great-grandson!" Hayden walked over carefully and came to a stop in front of Benedict. The child's round black pupils fixed themselves on the old man's face for a while before Hayden asked him a question. "Are you sick, Great-Grandpa? You look really pale." The child was direct—he stated his observations without any hesitation.
