Chapter 5 Forced to No Avail

• “Hello handsome, just the perfect timing. Someone from one of the houses upstairs has fainted. Hurry up and take a look. Contact the medical room right away. I’m on my way to look for his family. Hurry, hurry!”
• “Okay, is it the one upstairs?” After hearing that someone had fainted, the server wasted no time in asking.
• “Yes, hurry!”
• She was afraid that the police would arrive too late.
• Lin Xiaoxue watched the server quickly climb up the steps. She prayed that he would make it through.
• The hot spring hotel was located on top of the mountain. The bottom of the mountain had the sightseeing cars. Most importantly, she had to pass through the lobby.

• Just when Lin Xiaoxue fretted about how to get into the lobby without being caught, she saw a female janitor carrying cleaning supplies into the washroom.

• She looked around. There was no one.
• Lin Xiaoxue calmed herself down. She picked up a large rock about the size of her hand from the nearby forest and walked into the washroom.
• Being barefoot, Lin Xiaoxue was able to walk silent. The female janitor who was busily scrubbing the toilet took no notice of Lin Xiaoxue nearing her.
• Her hand shook as she held up the rock in midair. Lin Xiaoxue clenched her jaw and wavered.
• She looked at her pathetic self through the mirror.
• If she did not grasp her strength precisely, she might end up killing her.
• She simply did not have the heart to hurt others for the sake of herself.

• Pah!
• She smashed the mirror before. When the female janitor turned around to look with shock on her face, Lin Xiaoxue quickly picked up a sharp glass and walked up to the janitor. She thrust it in front of the pale, panic-stricken janitor.
• Her toilet scrub dropped to the floor, and the janitor raised her hands up. “Please, Miss, don’t be rash.”
• “Remove your work clothes.” Lin Xiaoxue, on the contrary, was now quite calm. Otherwise, the woman in front of her would’ve already had gaping hole in her head.
• “Huh?!”
• “Strip!” Losing her patience, Lin Xiaoxue glared at her and hollered.
• If someone had heard of the glass breaking from the inside, she would been in very hot water.
• “Okay, okay!” The janitor eyed the sharp glass in front of her and glimpsed Lin Xiaoxue’s bloody hand which had been cut by the class. She felt rather sorry for the girl.
• Soon, she handed her work clothes to Lin Xiaoxue with her other free hand.
• “Hands to the back! Turn around!”
• The female janitor abided by her instructions.
• Lin Xiaoxue threw the glass on the floor. Without tending to her wound, she quickly removed her shirt and used it to tie the janitor’s hands.
• At long last, she stuffed a cloth into the janitor’s mouth, locked her inside the washroom, and held the washroom door in place with the entwined bath towel.
• “Mmph?! Mmph....” The janitor inside nervously shouted for help.
• “Lady, I’m sorry. I’ve been forced to no avail as well. Just stay there, and let me leave. I have already removed the sign outside. Once someone comes, you’ll be saved,” explained Lin Xiaoxue to the janitor as she tided her clothes.
• The janitor inside the washroom quieted down, appearing as if she understood Lin Xiaoxue’s predicament.
• After she had changed into the work clothes, put on the janitor’s large shoes, tied up her hair, and worn a surgical mask, Lin Xiaoxue picked up her cleaning equipment and speedily headed down the mountain to the other side of the hotel lobby.
• Inside the lobby were a few burly men, clad in back, who paced back and forth and inspected people who passed by. Judging by their nervous expressions, it was clear that they were not willing to let any creature, not even a fly, escape.
• A few hotel staff employees from lobby ran past her. From their mutters, she could infer that they were going to that private hot spring house. At the same time, the police were here as well. They had already confirmed with the hotel about the injured man.
