Chapter 23 Stalking Danger
- Turning to the right, escaping a growing traffic, I let out a sigh. Thank God I borrowed Beth's car as mine was back at my building. It felt so good driving a perfectly fine car after struggling months with that clunker of mine.
- I glanced at my phone.
- No calls or messages from him for almost half an hour. He was oddly silent considering the uncountable amounts of calls and warning filled messages I got from him after Aaron left. He was furious. As much as I enjoyed getting on his nerves, I hated it when he tried to control my life.
