• With his cheek resting against his palm, Zheme watched as Lexie slept.
• She looked like an angel, face as flawless as a blank sheet of paper, lips as red and plump as cherries, lids tightly screwed shut, nose as straight as an arrow. She was beautiful, carved out of diamonds and as rare as a gem.
• But though she seemed so...so innocent, she was the devil incarnate. She was evil, maliciously evil and all her evilness was taken out on him.
