Chapter 128 A Big Short's Prisoner

  • Arrogant. Leonard’s demeanor at that moment exuded just one word. Faced with being surrounded, he casually lit a cigarette, ignoring the wealthy bodyguards closing in on him. And just as the bodyguards were about to apprehend Leonard, on the other side, Yohan Marlow, the head of the Marlow family, and Daniel Flores, the head of the Flores family, rushed toward their sons. Seeing the sorry state of their sons, their eyes instantly turned red. “Make sure this little brat pays for it,” Daniel howled in fury. It was clear he was furious at this point. Leonard flicked the cigarette butt from his hand, letting it fall to the ground, and crushed it underfoot. Then, he stepped forward and sent one bodyguard tumbling with a single palm strike. With the agility of a tiger, he charged into the midst of the crowd, ready to fight. Meanwhile, a middle–aged man was standing at the back of the bodyguard group. Witnessing Leonard’s swift moves, his eyebrows raised ever so slightly.
  • The bodyguard had seen his fair share of battles, but Leonard had easily brought him down. Such strength was undeniably powerful and efficiently executed. After taking down two bodyguards with consecutive punches, Leonard grabbed a bodyguard by his long hair and yanked hard, then drove his knee upward. With a loud thud, the opponent’s nasal bone shattered, and he collapsed to the ground. In the blink of an eye, four men were down, causing the remaining bodyguards to look at Leonard with wariness. They no longer rashly charged forward but clenched their fists, circled Leonard cautiously, and searched for an opportunity. “Young man, your martial arts skills are impressive. May I ask who your master is?” At this moment, the middle–aged man from the back approached, displaying a hint of curiosity.
  • It was evident that Leonard’s prowess had piqued his interest. However, he didn’t believe that Leonard had the right to stir up trouble with just this level of skill. Having roamed the martial world for so many years, he had encountered all sorts of formidable practitioners and wasn’t inclined to regard Leonard, a young newcomer, too highly. “You’re not worthy of knowing my master’s name,” Leonard said as he smirked disdainfully. “You’re quite bold,” the middle–aged man replied, unfazed. He promptly removed his suit jacket, unbuttoned the collar and cuffs of his shirt, and stretched his limbs.
