Chapter 248 A Grave Situation

• “Eris, Eris…” Liam, who was unconscious all this while, suddenly mumbled her name softly. He repeatedly called out the same name as his brows furrowed into a line.
• Meanwhile, Charlie, who had one hand supporting his head while he tried to catch some shut-eye, jumped up in fright upon hearing the voice from the ward.

The former rushed over and placed a hand on Liam’s forehead, noticing that his body temperature seemed higher than normal. “Is he running a fever?” Charlie’s expression turned and without hesitation, he immediately called for a nurse. After checking Liam’s temperature, Charlie noticed that indeed the latter was running a high fever once again.
