Charlotte was woken up by her phone's notification.
She checked to find it was a message from her brother. "Lottie, didn't you say that you're looking for a caretaker for Mom? Someone recommended me one, saying she's excellent. Why don't you check it out with me?"
The next message was the address of a hotel.
