I was taken aback by the question Lisa had just asked me. I hadn't expected her to ask me so soon but I guess my actions today had pushed her to ask the question this soon.
Those actions were ones I could not control. Her repeatedly telling me she wasn't mine and would never be mine wasn't something so pleasant to my ears. No, it wasn't even one tiny bit pleasant.
