Chapter 5

• She suddenly opened her eyes, and she was startled because the person next to her was not Daniel but James, and the expression he had was sure on his face it was sure that sweet words were not his. 
• Alexa thought she must be dreaming.
• Everyone knows that he speaks very less, and sweet words are not his cup of tea. He only knows giving orders and that too rudely.
• Seeing that she was taking James's shoulder's support, Alexa immediately sat straight and said in a kitten voice, "I am sorry, I didn't…"
• James cut her off, "It's time for sunrise". Saying this, he stood up and left. Alexa also followed him.
• It was beautiful scenery when the sun rose. It was a little cloudy and the golden sun rays falling on the top of the mountain gave a feeling of heaven. It was so beautiful.
• Alexa had a smile pasted on her face; it was visible that she was enjoying the beauty. As she was busy mesmerizing beauty, her phone started ringing.
• When she saw the screen, it was a video call from her friend George who studied with her in London.
• She immediately picked the call and said, "George see this beautiful scenery," and they chatted, but Alexa again felt like someone was watching her; she turned to look around but found no one.
• Immediately at that moment, the mobile signal of everyone's phone was lost. Daniel shouted in frustration, "What the fuck, man?"
• Everyone was trying to get a signal, but nothing was working. Lucas, who was busy hugging Catherine, said, "I think a network jammer is activated here."
• Everyone was shocked to hear that; Lucas turned towards James and asked, "James, do you have any idea who it could be?"
• James nodded negatively and said in a cold tone, "I don't come here often."
• As there was no network, no one could make or receive calls, so finally, all were again enjoying the beauty.
• After spending a good time, everyone came back to James's restaurant and had breakfast. 
• Alexa was having her breakfast slowly enjoying every bite of it, when she heard Daniel talking with friends, "Hey, Liam, let's finish the breakfast and leave first so that we might not face much traffic in the city."
• The moment Alexa heard this, she started eating quickly; she doesn't want to go back with James. She can't breathe properly..
• She finished her breakfast quickly and rushed to Daniel's car and sat in the passenger seat. She sighed in relief when she settled in the car. Poor Alexa didn't know that two eyes were observing all her activity.
• After some time, the car's gate opened and Alexa said in excitement, "Brot…" but she could not continue when she saw the person sitting on the driver seat. It was James. 
• She turned around to check if she had mistakenly sat in James's car. She didn't understand what was happening. She again lost her tongue and sat quietly like an obedient kid.
• James didn't say a word and started the car; he smiled a little seeing Alexa's face. A smile which no one can notice, as they started the car, Daniel came in parallel to them driving James's car and said, "Bro, thanks for lending your car".
• Alexa immediately turned to James and said, gathering all her courage, "Can I …" she wanted to say, "Can I go in Daniel's car" but before she could complete her words, James accelerated his car and drove away, leaving Daniel behind.
• Alexa felt like she lost her last chance, now again she can't talk either and breathe properly sitting in the same car with Mr. Zombie; yes, Alexa calls him Zombie because he doesn't speak and always has a dead face expression.
• Lucas was the last to leave; actually, he didn't want to go soon; he wanted to spend more time with Catherine. He tried to kiss her at the time of sunrise, but Catherine avoided him. 
• And now also she was reluctant to leave early, saying she is tired and wants to go home to take rest.
• Lucas was highly disappointed, but he didn’t say anything to her. He thought that she might be on her period, that's why she is behaving like these.
• By the time James and Alexa touched the city, it was already traffic hours and they got stuck in traffic, it was a big torcher for Alexa to sit quietly with no music. She was praying silently that they reach home as soon as possible.
• It was almost lunchtime, but they were still far from home. So James stopped the car in front of a restaurant; Alexa looked at him puzzled. He turned to face her and said in a cold tone, "Aren't you hungry?"
• She was about to say that she is not hungry, but her stomach ditched her and growled. She felt so embarrassed and quietly followed him.
• After reaching the table, she immediately left for the washroom; when she returned, James had already ordered the food.
• She felt so irritated, thinking that she might have to eat his favourite food. She really wanted to shout on him but again her little courage collapsed the moment her eyes met his black eyes.
• She immediately looked away and started eating without looking up. But surprisingly, all the food was her favourite.
• She thought that it must be a coincidence.
• After having lunch, they again started their journey towards home, she regretted coming to this outing, she was not able to enjoy a little also. All the time this person was sitting beside her with his long face.
• Soon they reached home; the moment car stopped in front of the house entrance Samara ran away with full speed as if a ghost was behind her. Seeing the disappearing figure, James's lips curved up in a smile.
• Lucas and Catherine headed towards their home; after dropping Catherine home, Lucas left for office after freshening up.
• A month passed, and things were going peaceful; thankfully, Alexa didn't have to face Mr. Zombie anymore.
• Daniel had fun with different girls every night. Lucas tried to keep Catherine happy in all the possible ways.
