Chapter 1222 Fun With The Ladies

• I joined a golf club to improve my golf and to meet others and it took me about a year to become recognised by other members. I managed eventually to play regular games in a group during the week but didnt find another group to play with at weekends.
• A member of my weekday group suggested playing in the club matches as they were always short of players and it would a good way to meet others. I thought this was a good idea so I decided to add my name to the list.
• The following Saturday I found that I had been drawn to play in a mixed match at my own club against a visiting team on the Sunday. I've never played golf with a female golfer so this would be a new experience for me and I must admit I was quite nervous.
