Elisa stared at Linda and continued with a half-smile, "But I didn't notice Ms. Tabor's presence just now. Nonetheless, I've said that Gareth and I are just putting on a show for our own benefit. It doesn't bother me who he left with."
Elisa wasn't telling a lie when she said she didn't notice Nicole. Given Gareth's personality, he wouldn't leave with a woman whom he utterly detested unless he had some important agenda. He was no ordinary man. Elisa believed he could handle his matters well. On the other hand, Nicole couldn't possibly harm him on his turf.
"Ms. Benett, are you free tomorrow then?" Linda asked cautiously.
