• Five of the eight cops inside the monitoring room were impaled by the volley of glass shards. It didn't kill them but was damaging enough to incapacitate them. Two of the remaining turned tail and ran away to get backup.

• Tyler's display of monstrous strength petrified the Commissioner, but the seasoned police officer in him kicked in. He unholstered his gun quickly and clicked off its safety. However, the young man slapped it out of his hand before he could fire.
