• "Oh," Lou Anne said still sounding a bit confused. "Well anyway, thank you so much Destiny. I really appreciate you doing this. You are the one person here who I can always count on. Hiring you really was one of the best decisions I ever made. Maybe after this wedding I'll need to look at giving you a raise."
• Destiny could have cried right there but she was determined to get through this. Instead, she just looked down so she could pull her purse out of her desk drawer and mumbled to Lou Anne that she was happy to do it and she hoped Lou Anne would have a great weekend. Lou Anne got up to leave saying that she would call Gwendolyn and let her know that Destiny was on her way. As soon as Lou Anne walked out Destiny took a deep breath and headed out as well. She could do this.
• Destiny took a cab to the hotel and went up to Tyler's room. She assumed that Gwen must be staying there too and for some reason was away last weekend. But just to be safe Destiny opened her purse and placed her pepper spray on top where she could easily grab it. A girl couldn't be too careful. She knocked on the door and waited.
