• The demon's eyes shifted from predator hunting prey, to curious wonder. She leaned in close and licked Megan's sweating forehead. The taste of fear was just as genuine as the truth. The demon released Megan's wrists and she fell to the floor. Upon impact she backed herself into a corner, sitting on her bare rear and hugging her knees into her chest.
