• Wordlessly, he cleaned me up, letting the stream of hot water cascade down my back. The last of the tension in my muscles ebbed away. When we were done with the shower, Nicholas carried me out of the shower, grabbing two towels on his way out of the bathroom. He set me down on the floor in front of the bed, wrapping one towel around my head.
• I plopped down on the bed, watching him as he used the other towel to quickly pat himself dry, and then he knelt in front of me, running the soft towel down my body until he got to my stomach.
