Chapter 59

• It was three days to Evie's birthday which is a Saturday and Kel said he wanted to take me out to dinner, so I dropped Evie at my mom's. We've still been getting threats from Carlos about him wanting to hurt Evie. I quit my job with Kel so I could watch her properly since I couldn't trust anyone with her. We rarely went out and I was quite nervous as we were dropping her off at my mom's even though Kel has assured me that there were bodyguards around.
• "She's going to be fine. I have people watching the premises, nothing would happen to them okay?" He reassured her after we dropped her. She wanted to go with us and Kel explained some things to her before she reluctantly agreed.
