Chapter 11 Giving Daddy a Test
- “Who sent you?” Quan Yao curved lips his upwards apathetically. It must be nothing but a mother who was plotting to use the boys who resembled him as a stepping stone for wealth.
- To get their pay checks, the woman actually managed to find boys who looked exactly like him.
- “It is our idea, mommy is too dumb, she can’t be relied on.” An Xiaobai stuck his tongue out awkwardly.
- If it weren’t for their mother’s ignorance, why would they need to go through the troubles to get to their daddy?
- “How old are you both?” Quan Yao was intrigued. He wanted to know the little boys a little more.
- “We’re five!” An Xiaobai smiled innocently, a rare blush was brought to his delicate cheeks.
- Perhaps every boy’s dream was to have a superhero as their daddy.
- In this instance, the man before An Xiaobai was an absolute hero in his eyes.
- Just five years old? They had managed to convince his subordinate and his obstinate sister to bring them all the way to his office. Not bad for kids their age.
- “Where do you live? I’ll get someone to send you home.” Quan Yao reached out to the table phone as he spoke.
- “I think you should just bring us back to kindergarten, we sneaked out.” An Xiaobai did not intend to skip class.
- “Mister, this is my number.” An Dabai took a piece of paper and left a row of digits, then held his brother’s hand, “If you’re really our dad, give me a call.”
- Quan Yao smoothed out the note in his hand, then turned to the boys whose faces looked identical to him. There was an indescribable feeling in his heart, “Sure, I’ll inform you of the outcome.”
- An Dabai ascertained that Quan Yao kept the note. He maintained a listless expression on his charming face, “If it turns out that you’re not our dad, just take it as an awkward encounter.”
- “Actually, I don’t mind you being our godfather!” An Xiaobai could not wait to offer himself as a gift to Quan Yao. He pursed his lips, “We didn’t have anything to eat for breakfast, can you treat us to a meal?”
- An Dabai wanted to expose his brother. They had breakfast at home.
- However, he was curious to know how the man would react.
- That was right, he was secretly observing Quan Yao.
- If the man did not have the awareness of a father, without any idea how to love his child, there was no point in acknowledging the relationship.
- He can take care of his mommy and little brother.
- “I’m busy.”
- Upon recalling the important meeting that was coming up next, Quan Yao did not hesitate before refusing the request.
- As a man, a rational one at that, he would not abandon his work for a sudden interference.
- Besides, he had no idea if the children belonged to him.
- “But, regardless of how busy you are, you still need to eat right?” An Xiaobai insisted adamantly.
- “Brother, let’s go!” An Dabai dragged his younger brother along.
- “President, it’s time for the meeting…”
- The secretary entered the room and locked eyes with An Dabai coincidentally. Oh heavens, the president actually has illegitimate children?
- Are the rumours true?
- Should I take the chance to fawn over the little young masters right now?
- “Cancel the meeting.”
- For some reason, Quan Yao could feel An Dabai’s resistance toward him. He frowned briefly before finally asking, “What would you like?”
- “Anything will do, I’m not a picky eater!” An Xiaobai was extremely surprised. All he could think of was fulfilling his dreams of dining with his dad.
- “Can we dine out?” At this point, a strange idea suddenly surfaced in Quan Yao’s mind. He wanted to send them to school personally.
- “Of course.”
- An Xiaobai was exhilarated as he stepped into a high class restaurant for the first time in his life. He chattered non-stop along the way.
- While An Dabai was much more reserved.
- However, they were raised with great dining etiquette. Without behaving gluttonously, they finished their orders and did not waste any food.
- Quan Yao let out a pleased smile when he noticed this trait. They must have been educated well by their mommy on the topic of wasting.
- He was starting to hope that these little cuties were his sons.
- After breakfast, Quan Yao sent the boys to school as promised.
- When he saw them left the car with their bags, Quan Yao’s eyes were filled with reluctance.
- The feeling of being a dad was strange, but it was also mysterious.
