Chapter 30 Cold Transaction

• Henry arrived and immediately noticed Simon sitting on the steps with a bruised face, his schoolbag on the ground, and a tree branch beside him. It was easy to guess what had happened.
• Henry quickly glanced at Charlotte from head to toe before asking Simon, "Another fight?"
• "Somebody had their eyes on Miss Charlotte, so I couldn't stand by and watch. I stepped in to help," Simon explained the situation in a single sentence.
