Chapter 8 Huo Yuchuan

• Jiang Mucheng spoke very quietly, so Huo Ciyi couldn't hear her clearly from where he was.
• All he heard was the nurse's reply. "He didn't say who he was. He just told me to say that he's an old friend, and that if you don't see him, then he'll get someone to lock the hospital down and find you. Ah... What does he look like? He's really hot!"

• She glanced blankly at the man in front of her, then thought about it for a moment and changed the topic.
• "You've only just come back. You must be exhausted. Would you like me to help you book a hotel room to get some rest?"
• She said that because she wanted to send him on his way.

• Jiang Mucheng was busy in the lab for a really long time. There was bacteria in a petri dish that took up until eleven in the evening to grow. During the wait, she called someone at home, then continued to wait.
• She was only able to take off her coat and leave the lab after she transferred the grown bacteria to a new petri dish and let that start to grow.
• But to her surprise, just as she stepped out of the main hospital doors, she saw Huo Yuchuan again.
