• I stepped out of the car. I couldn’t help but admire the huge hotel in front of us. Dad’s right, this is one of the biggest and most expensive hotels in the country. The manager and event coordinator greeted us.
• I turned to Denard who had just gotten out of the car. He glanced at his wristwatch then he took out the invitation inside his coat pocket and handed it to the manager.
• “The gala is already starting, Mr. Bornefeld but don’t worry, I’m here to assist you. Follow me,” said the manager who greeted us.
