• "Looks like even hellhounds can bleed," Sebastian sneered, standing over Knox's fallen form. My heart lurched at the sight of my brother collapsing, blood pooling beneath him. Without a second thought, I rushed to his side in my wolf form, my paws skidding on the slick stone floor as I closed the distance between us.
• "Knox!" I howled internally, panic gripping me like a vice. The sight of the blade protruding from his side sent a chill down my spine. Was the wound fatal?
