Nicole looked at him with a subconscious smile on her face. Jared stepped out of the car and opened the rear passenger door for Mrs. Wallace Sr., seeing her nod. After she got in, he went around to the other side and revealed a graceful smile when he saw Nicole’s expression easing up.
