• I shook my head and at the same time, reached for his hand before they went too far under my dress. “Go to your ex if you are in need of who to fuck.” I was probably being petty but hell, I didn’t care.
• Shawn didn’t bother to struggle with me. Instead, he stared at me with a small smile at the corner of his lips. “Stella means nothing to me. You’ve got no reason to be jealous of her. If it would make you feel any better, then I think you should know that she’s married too. I don’t know what you saw online but if I was going to cheat on you, then I would do a clean job.”
