• I delicately pressed my palm against my flushed cheek, tracing the tingling imprint left by his tender caress. The close proximity of seeing him again, so near, stirred a whirlwind of emotions deep within me - feelings I had bottled up and kept concealed for so long. Trying to process this crazy, tumultuous situation was honestly proving to be an arduous freaking task.
• I gradually edged further away from him, putting space between us. My heart was racing with a mixture of anticipation and apprehension.
