• Shirley felt really sleepy after a brief chat with her father. She decided to rest on the vacant bed for her baby's sake. "Dad, I'm going to take a nap too. Let me know if you need anything."
• "Sure, go ahead. You've been busy all night. Get some rest." Mr. Wilson sympathized with Shirley and agreed.
• Having been busy for the whole night, Shirley fell asleep as soon as she lay down in bed. However, she was abruptly awakened by a nightmare after only two hours of sleep, drenched in sweat from fear. Daylight shone right in as she opened her eyes, and her father was getting an IV drip. There was no sight of her mother in the ward, however.
