• "I've explained it to your partner. I said we were going to the hospital because we wanted to check on Vincent, who had a strange syndrome. But he doesn't believe it," Zach accused Michael. Jake glanced at his partner but then turned back to Zach.
• "What syndrome does he have?" "What syndrome does he have?" Jake asked. Zach was silent and stunned for a moment. He wasn't sure if he spoke, then everyone would believe him.
• "Did you see when Vincent bit the man who had attacked people at the hospital? Vincent is a vampire. The vampire transmits a virus that turns other people into vampires as well. Just like in the movie," said Zach, as if he were fantasizing.
