Helena had set up one of the maids working for her for the job. She had recently caught in her the act of spying on her and giving reports to Amy and pretended not to notice till she’s ready to deal with her.
While she was making her plan, she also figured out that she will be the perfect person for the job. Using her crime against her, she was able to send her on the mission of stealing the diamond necklace from the room.
“You will steal the necklace during dinner and place it in Amy’s chambers. Then after dinner, you will go back and pretend to steal the fake one I will be placing in replacement of the stolen one. At the point of moving out, collide with a flower vase to cause an attraction and then run for your life. When the truth is out, just confess that Amy was the one that sent you to steal it and leave everything to me” she explained
