• Ariel stood in front of the mirror, dressed in a navy blue suit that had been tailored to her body. She turned from side to side, checking the fitting on her, and she nodded her head in satisfaction, happy with what she was seeing.
• The suit had cost an arm and leg; it had to fit her. She had wanted to make a good impression on her first day of work, and that was why she had dragged Liza to go shopping with her and had opted for the suit.
• She could hear Kane’s foot steps on the marble as he came out of the bedroom, and she turned to see him dressed in only a towel that was hanging too low on his waist for her liking.
