Chapter 19 An Explosion

• My blood is boiling as we make our way into the venue, the minute we are inside I pull Mario into one of the side rooms. “And who the hell do you think you are to put the false gossip about us out there?” I snap as I spin on him, the smug grin now disappearing. “I may be a female boss Mario but that doesn’t mean I am weak or naive” I growl at him as many emotions cross his face.
• He stalks towards me, a dark expression on his face making him look sinister. Grabbing me by the chin his face is almost nose to nose I can feel his breath on my skin “Don’t push me Allegra, it’s not worth it. Trust me when I say we are better friends then enemies” I yank my face free and pull myself to my full height “Are you threatening me?” He steps back and starts to laugh but I can see he is covering up his shock.
