• I took a deep breath again, then I shook my head. Everything that I had said to Laura all came from a place of hurt and I meant every single word.
• I lied about one thing though. I lied when I said that I didn't care. I did care. That was the reason I visited, that was the reason I avoided eye contact, that was the reason I wished she'd get better.
• I knew what I had said to her hurt her but I just wanted her to feel how it was for me when she left me for Mascot. She had chosen to forget all the memories we shared and had chosen to forsake me.
