• "Ember? Em!" I shouted, but she was unconscious now. The wolfsbane had been too much for her to handle. I wanted so badly to head back and deal with the man who had caused all of this, but Ember had asked me to let it be. If I didn't listen to Ember, that man was going to die in my hands. And heaven knew I wanted nothing more than to end the bloke's life.
