Chapter 43 The Mysterious Identity

• The line went silent after she narrated her experience to Gary. She heard a shuffling on the other side, followed by the sobbing voice of a young child. She could hear Gary walk away from the phone to calm the sobbing child before coming back to the call.
• "I'm sorry for the distraction, I had to attend to something" he apologised calmly.
• "It's fine, are you babysitting? Do you need me to call back later?" Lily asked curiously.
