Chapter 54

• *** LUCIAN'S POV ***
• He woke up and it was dark already. Alexia wasn't by his side and he could not perceive her scent, it meant she had left a while ago. He stood up from the bed and wore the shirt Alexia took off him. He went outside and asked a servant where she went to, a guard told Lucian she asked him to tell Lucian that she went to clear her head, and she will be back shortly. He dismissed the guard and went back into his room. He freshened up and changed his attire. He called the guard Alexia had kept a message with and kept his own for her. He will be going to Raphael's house. He went outside and decided to walk to the place.
• He arrived at Raphael's house and knocked on the door. A servant opened up and he went in. He did not see Raphael's wife and he asked a servant where Raphael was and the servant told him. The man was in his library. Lucian went to the library and knocked when he got to the door, the man's voice echoed on the other side of the door, giving Lucian permission. Lucian got into the room and as usual, the man sat in the library, reading a book. Lucian wondered if the man ever left his library. Raphael kept his book away when Lucian entered the library.
