• “Let me put your clothes into the washing machine, and I’ll join you.” He lifts one of his pads up to look at me and I slap his hand. “Don’t!”
• Saying that I have a bad feeling as I step out into the garage to start a load would be an incredible understatement. I’m practically hyperventilating as I start the program for the washing machine. As I run back to the bathroom, I only let go of the breath I was holding as I have closed the door behind me.
