• Jackson led them into the house with excitement in his steps. The living room was small and quaint, but it was cozy and warm. They had a woodworking fireplace, lilac walls, and a soft leather couch. Jackson kept walking into the dining room and Sierra followed him. The dining room was also modest, just a round wooden table with five chairs, but it was enough for them. On the table were a large bowl of salad and some pasta dishes prepared, along with several bottles of wine.
