• Melanie had mid-length brown hair in a ponytail and huge blue eyes. A few piercings lined her face, mainly in her nose and ears, but she was a bubbly one. She jumped from foot to foot. The pale pink crop and leggings emphasized her curvy figure.
• I found my place beside her, hoping to just be quiet, but she was already looking at me, a wide smile on her face.
• “Hi, I'm Melanie! I've not seen you around here before. Do you like books?” She held out her hand to me.
