Chapter 10 I Must Repay Him

• “Oh my god! It works! I am feeling so much better now.” Master Tang was invigorated with his eyes twinkling immediately after that.
• This sudden turn of events got everyone up on their feet in excitement.
• Tang Anyan was the first to react as he rushed over to his father, “Dad, how do you feel? Are you really feeling better?”
• Master Tang nodded his head and said, “Yes, my child. I feel so much better now. In fact, it doesn’t hurt anymore. Haha.”

• Everyone was so thrilled while the elegant lady cried in joy.

He also requested for the poisonous insects to be sent for laboratory testing. Su Qi warned him against it as the poisonous insects were tough to handle. Chief Luo was convinced nothing could go wrong as he had a professional laboratory. Once the poisonous insects got placed in a strong receptacle, there was no way they could attack him.
• Seeing his insistence, Su Qi could only let him get his way.
• Following his recovery, he managed to regain his vigor speedily. After finishing a bowl of porridge, he could even climb off the bed and walk around.
• At the sight of their warm family moments, Su Qi decided to retreat to a corner while he wait for Tang Anyan to come over.
• Right at that moment, his mobile phone rang; It was Liu Nian calling.

• “Forget it,” Liu Nian said impatiently, “Stop your nonsense and come home immediately!” she hung up the phone immediately after that.
• He was unable to get over Liu Nian’s show of contempt for him and thought about getting Tang Anyan to speak with her on the phone to corroborate his claims.
• However, when he turned to see that Tang Anyan and his family were chatting happily, he struck the thought from his mind. Liu Nian sounded very anxious on the phone earlier, so he was afraid something might have happened at home. Without daring to linger any longer, Su Qi walked up to Uncle Liu, “I’ve urgent matters at home, so I’m going off. Please let Mr. Tang know. Thank you”
• “Shall I get someone to send you back?” asked Uncle Liu.
• “It’s fine. I can make it back on my own.”
• “Alright.”
• When Su Qi exited the door, Uncle Liu suddenly recalled, Shoot! We haven’t thanked him properly…
• He immediately dashed out the door to chase after him, but there was no sign of Su Qi anywhere. When he returned, Tang Anyan asked, “Uncle Liu, where’s Su Qi?”
• Uncle Liu replied cautiously, “Dr. Su just left.”
• “What?! He left already?” Tang Anyan was taken aback, “How can he leave? We haven’t paid our gratitude yet!”
• “It’s all my fault for failing to keep Dr. Su, Young Master!” said Uncle Liu as he knelt in front of Tang Anyan and slapped himself.
• “What happened?” Master Tang’s attention was directed to the duo as he walked over.
• Uncle Liu said in guilt, “Master, Dr. Su has left. It’s all my fault. I await your punishment, Master!”
• Master Tang’s face fell as he said unhappily, “Huh? Dr. Su has left? Liu, why are you so forgetful? He saved my life! I was this close to dying… Liu, you’ve always been good at your job. How could you have made such a huge mistake?”
• On hearing this, Uncle Liu felt even guiltier and lowered his head.
• Tang Tianpeng said, “Anyan, you’re the one who invited him here. Quickly give Dr. Su a call. He saved your father, and we’ve to repay him.”
• The others followed suit as they urged for Tang Anyan to call, to which he smiled bitterly and said, “Honestly, I don’t have his phone number...”
• “Ridiculous!” Master Tang instantly bellowed in rage, “Anyan, what is this? When Dr. Su was here, everyone was skeptical with his capabilities and even accused him of being a swindler. Now that he has cured me, you let him go without getting his contact information at all! How could you be so ungrateful? What have I been teaching you since young? We must show gratitude when people help us in our time of need by giving back in double the deed! I don’t care what it takes, I want Dr. Su back in this house and to thank him personally. What are you still here for?! Hurry up and go!”
• Master Tang commanded the most authority in the clan. Whenever he threw a temper, everyone would quake in fear, including Tang Anyan.
