Chapter 8

• Kayla's pov
• The sunlight caused me to blink several times as I groggily opened my eyes. For a few seconds, I just lay there like I was paralyzed, unable to move my body, and when I finally did, I realized why I couldn't move in the first place. It felt like someone had whipped me on every inch of my body last night.
• I was so sore all over and I had a massive headache that caused me to groan outloud, and believe me when I say, my heart flew to my mouth when a man groaned next to me and wrapped his arm further close around my waist.
