Chapter 467 Blackout

• There had been a blackout at City Hospital for over two hours, and the emergency power supply was only enough to provide electricity to the operating theaters and the intensive care unit. Meanwhile, the repairmen from the electricity supplier were frantically trying to find the source of the issue. Eventually, they found out that it was caused by a short circuit in the cable beneath the asphalt road behind the hospital. Because of that, they had to dig a hole in the asphalt road.
• Unfortunately, things weren't in their favor. Just then, there was a thunderstorm, which only increased the difficulty of the work. If the cables that had to be repaired weren't connected to the hospital, none of them would be willing to continue working overnight under the freezing winter storm. But now, although the workers were unwilling, they could only grumble as they had to work overtime.
• It was pitch black in the hospital, and the timid nurses were huddled together and talking to each other to calm their nerves.
