Chapter 34 Betrayal

• With swollen eyes, Tereesa stared at herself in front of the mirror. Tonight was the night of her delayed engagement. And like her father said, it was still transpiring. And like what she promised their clan after she was brought back to their mansion, they didn't let her go out of her room or even talk to her mother.
• Tereesa was devastated. All her life, her father ruled her as if she was a puppet in his own show. She might always rebel against him but it never got to the point where he technically imprisoned her. This time was different. He wouldn't even let her see her own mother. Does he know about them meeting on her birthday? Nonetheless, did he know that she had her birthday the other day?
• She was blazing inside. She wanted to just escape. She wanted to talk to Andrew, but it was impossible for the meantime. She didn't have anything to contact him because her father confiscated all of it. She felt fucked up and wasted. She wanted to throw everything she sees but she was already feeling weak by everything that happened so fast. Her mind was also too tired to think.
