• Aiden moved from his place as soon as his master disappeared. Using his left thumb and the back of his left hand, he wiped away the remaining blood on the corner of his lips and his bleeding nose.
• He picked up his backpack, which had fallen due to Ashley's blow while patting his clothes off the dust that had stuck to it.
