• If I was given a choice, then I would have waited for the king to leave. He was scary, something in me wanted to see his face. The last time I saw him, he disappeared from the room. But now he was holding me by the throat, my delicate body slammed against the wall and suspended midair. It seemed he didn't have anything to say because he was just holding me without saying anything, his grip restraining air from my lungs such that I found myself getting weaker.
